The   Second   Hand   Prose   bookstore   at   the   Miller   Memorial   Library   is   sponsored   by   the   Friends   of   the   Hamden Library   and   has   been   in   operation   since   the   1980s.   It   offers   a   complete   range   of   books,   CDs   and   DVDs,   audio books   for   all   range   groups,   puzzles,   classics,   non-fiction   and   fiction.   The   Second   Hand   Prose   bookstore   is   filled with   over   10,000   items   donated   by   wonderfull   hamden   citizens.   there   are   books,   CDs,   DVDs,   audio,   books, puzzles   -   for   every   age   group.   Each   book   is   carefully   examined   to   ensure   that   it   is   in   pristine   condition.   Most range from $.25 to $2.00.
